Note that if you're in Japan you have to wait until next week because of golden week. Recieved mine today in South Korea!

So I am fully aware that it isn't out yet, but many people have had a hands on and I was hoping someone could answer some of my questions.

  1. Can you easily swap between connected devices? For example on my dualsense I can easily connect to one of four paired devices by holding the PlayStation button and one of the face buttons. I am planning on having the puck at my PC and a bluetooth connection to my SteamDeck, how seamless can I switch between the two?

  2. Do controller configurations carry over from Steam Deck? I made some custom control schemes on my dualsense on Deck and I was somewhat surprised they were saved on my steam account and carried over when I connected the controller to my PC. Since the new controller shares an (almost) exact input scheme as the SteamDeck, will it carry over my configurations? I have quite a few games tweaked ro my preferences with elaborate button schemes which I would love to not have to set up twice.

  3. 8bitdo has a little dongle that translates controller inputs for other consoles, things like PlayStation controllers can work on Switch 2 this way. What are the hopes of something similar appearing for the new controller? I'd love for it to be my main controller across the board, but it doesn't even seem to have Xinput or any other similar widely used control scheme. It's not a deal breaker if not, but it'd be great if it could happen since it seems fairly open source.

thanks! looking forward to finally playing some of my favourites on the big screen!
