I recently started a job through an agency that advertised 40 hours per week on a 4 on / 2 off rota. Based on 40 hours, I calculated that my annual salary would meet the UK spouse visa financial requirement.
However, after starting the job, I found out that my breaks (30 minutes per shift) are unpaid. This effectively reduces my paid working hours to 37.5 hours per week instead of 40.
So I'm now confused, whether this work meets the MIR or doesn't.
This is weekly pay so there isn't a set yearly salary and depending on how much I work.
Any advice will be much appreciated, thanks.
Hello, so i found work through the agency which is nightshift but it is weekly paid. For the MIR, will I need to gather 6 months, equivalent to 26 weeks of payslips to give to my wife to show the home office?
How does it work for weekly paid?
