Anyone else seeing shadow AI become worse than shadow IT used to be

Over the last couple months there seems to be way less talk about people using AI and way more discovery of agents nobody knew about.

One team builds an internal support agent. Someone connects an agent to Jira. Then another agent is pulling files from SharePoint straight into Slack.

And apparently nobody stopped to ask what these things can actually access.

None of it is necessarily malicious. People are just trying to save time. But shadow IT was already messy enough when people were installing random software. Now shadow AI can actually read, move and share information on its own.

Feels like this is going to get messy fast.

Anyone remodel a bathroom after buying a former Airbnb?

We bought what used to be a vacation rental near Sarasota and its obvious the bathroom was designed to survive guests, not actually be comfortable to live with every day. Before we start tearing things apart, Im wondering if anyone else has gone through the same transition. What did you wish you changed first?

AITAH for terrorizing my brother because apparently closing a fridge is too difficult?

My brother says Im being cruel.

The man who leaves dirty dishes everywhere throws food around the fridge, leaves laundry in the washer and has somehow caused maggots to appear three separate times says Im the problem.

Okay.

Growing up, my brothers never had to clean. The girls did dishes, laundry and basically everything else. Now we are adults and he still pulls the nobody taught me card.

Funny how Google exists.

I gave him chores and somehow every chore became worse. Dishes left full of dirty water. Mop water reused until it smelled rotten. Laundry abandoned. Food tossed into the fridge. Syrup stored upside down without a lid.

So I stopped doing it for him.

Now he is calling it terrorizing.

Apparently expecting a grown man to clean up after himself is psychological warfare.

AITAH?
