Any way to get my hair to be in the front of the face in an Afro?
Hello guys! I have very thick very curly hair that’s a little past my shoulders when blown out (upper back). I haven’t ever straightened it so I can’t give that metric. I really love how Afros look and was wondering if there was any way to have my natural hair be more in the front of my face when in its natural state. I’ve noticed that my hair tends to never be in front of the ears, which is gorgeous, but is not complementary with my narrow oval face shape. I’d want to wear it in a way that covers my ears and parts of my forehead and frames my face. I mean something to the effect of the images I’m showing. The last two photos are included to give a comparison to how my hair looks at the moment. The length and texture are different but I just wanted to show what I mean by not being in the front of the face. My texture is probably closest to the 2nd and 5th photos when in its natural state. I definitely have some of the curliest curls I’ve ever seen if that helps.
