Ran across these two right after the 20th anniversary date. Anybody seen them or know more about the release? Wasn’t expecting to see them. I only real collect Pixar video production models, so I passed on these wild designs.
Very clean Euro themed silver set, an obvious choice over the legends pack. Priced better than the Mattel 80th anniversary ZAMAC’s, with better quality production cars. Makes it easy to choose which one you’re leaving with.
These have been on the shelf for $30 for over three weeks, still there. Not surprised, as these ZAMACS don’t inspire.
Wondering if anyone else picked this out. I noticed that the livery used for Maximum Leeway, #05 in this year’s mystery series, is near identical to a 2014 TH release. The white number is formerly bronze and there’s a slight decal/tampo variation, but the basic TH is there.

I would not be upset to see this happen more often.
Edit: number tampo is not bronze- that’s just the exposure. Carded pic confirms it’s actually white. The circular flame is replaced by the “LW” (Larry Wood?) insignia
Just came across these and noticed they’re not on the back of the box as includes included in the sets. Anybody know if these are hard to come across?
