My friend found this in the house he moved into and gave it to me. I know basically nothing about cognac, it’s really good but I was wondering how old it is and how much it would be worth if I wasn’t gonna drink it.
Yall ever have issues shifting during high rpms 1st to 2nd gear? I have a 60k mile 2004 mustang Mach 1 with a 5spd. clutch, throwout bearing, flywheel and clutch cable have been replaced and work perfectly. During low rpms(under 5k)the car shifts notchy going from 1 to 2 but if I try to shift hard during high rpm it’ll still go into gear but it’ll grind loud. Only one time did it fully stop me from going into gear and it was during a burnout. I’m thinking it’s the synchronizer gear going out, and every other gear is perfectly fine. I’m not gonna shift hard and if I do burnouts or launch the car I’ll just start in 2nd until I can afford to have the trans taken out again. What do y’all think?

New parts; timing belt, distributor, starter, valve cover gasket and cabin air filter.
203k miles, some dings and scratches but has a clean title, cold a/c and the table in the back. Interior is clean and there’s tinted windows. Automatic shifts good and it does not have 4wd. What would you price it as? I put it on marketplace for 5k
I’ve been hearing this sound usually after about 20 mins of driving, it doesn’t happen at the start of driving but it does happen eventually every time. It’s hard to hear so turn up the volume all the way but it’s like a metallic rubbing sound. It usually goes away when I stomp on the brakes but then it comes back. Gets worse during right turns compared to left. And you hear it more on the passenger side of the car. Any advice is appreciated!
