Stonehenge for the eclipse

Hi and thanks in advance.

I have been to stonehenge once before but my mother and my wife has not. My mum is stage 4 kidney disease and wants to see them and the eclipse as it may be her last chance and I am thinking of taking them for the eclipse on the 12th. When the site closes at 6, is everyone made to leave at 6 or do people linger around. Are they likely to let people stay for like 1 extra hr for the eclipse? The position of the eclipse at the time means you can’t see the stones unless you are on the site, i don’t believe you can see both from the public foot path.

It would nice if they didn’t rush everyone out and opened an extra 1hr.

If we can’t stay until 7 if anyone has any better suggestions to see it that will be great.

Thanks in advance

How to fix this?

So I messed up but I had to lay SPC starting in the hallway leading into my living room without any thresholds. Had I have used a thresh, I could have nore flexibility and start on other side of living room where this is?

How do I floor or hide this? To make it worse, it’s not straight.

Originally I was going to knock it down (there’s a gas appliance that needs to go anyway. Then we dicovered it was quite nice when the walls were white. How hard is it to remove?

Thank you all for the advice.

Which granny charger?

Hi, I am getting my first EV on wednesday. A a used Hyundai Kona. It comes with 2 original charging cables of which 1 is a 5m granny charger. I plan to granny charge it and need a longer cable. I want to invest in the most versatile cable possible and I meed 15-25m.

The first option is a fixed 3pin uk plug but it has tuya/smart life with is a feature I want.

Then I discovered these commando sockets with UK adapters. This should mean more flexbility and future if I ever come across a commando socket or decide to install one.

I have seen there are red 3 phase commando ones with similars UK adapters but never seen one with an adapater back to blue single phase. I read it is possible to charge but you need an adapter which I have never seen for sale. They just go from red plug to either a shucko or 3 pin Uk plug. I have ruled out the red commando socket solutions as I believe it’s only common in europe and when I plan to take the car there, I will be using public fast chargers anyway.

My question is how common are the blue cee sockets when out and about? Does it make sense to buy a commando one with a granny plug converter? Or is it an added risk?

Thank you

Is this still a fry up?

I like my fry ups but the only thing I fry is the egg. Which I even sometimes poach. The only oil used was frying the egg. Everything else get’s grilled in the ninja cooker. The tinned tomatoes and beans is obviously boiled. The way I see it, the healthier you cook it the more you can enjoy it during weekdays for Brinner.

How to fix this hole?

What is the best way to fill this hole? To clarify, there is also slight indent crack above the main hole. There is a light switch on other side starting where the handle is.

Thank you
