Hi all I felt being betrayed by my team lead can't expect management decided to listen to a one-sided story .......

I was supposed to join another department despite I was on a very good terms with team lead to my surprise I was told that my team lead spoken bad things about me to that department manager which I was supposed to transfer over to.

Was I too foolish for not realizing that I had a snake all along beside me and for those of you out there had the same experience possible to comment down below did you all went for therapy to get over it?

I am afraid I am not able to sleep well now ..........

how you all handle 12-hour shiftwork or 24/7 roles

For those working 24/7 or 12 hours shift my question will be how you all handle it is truly very tiring unless your superior very flexible let you all take to take a break if not the only time will be during lunch hour, but don't you all feel the burnt out?

I truly salute those working in those gov roles like SPF, SCDF and SAF it is really not easy 12 hours or 24 hours, but the advantage will be got to rest more days than those office hours.

not afraid of getting POFMA

Hi all,

Anyone noticed that some recruiters out there, but I don't want to say which firm probably had been leaking your information or selling out your details especially from rejected resumes to the darkweb .....

Now I also afraid of applying job through online portals which recruitment agencies can be trusted which one cannot best apply through direct.

Unfortunately, the authorities will say there is no evidence to it but unfortunately it is happening around.

No longer can do a solo travel by using an old itinerary

Hi all

Just wanted to ask the rest of you what does travelling or vacations means to you when you decided to do free and easy?

Do you prefer a filled itinerary or just copy exactly like klook or some blogger ideas just to make sure everything is correct?

For me when I go for vacation I will always follow exactly how travel intern did it but I can admit their itinerary very rushing need to wake up early to prepare myself for the day reminded me of my ns felt like a road march in the end I felt a burnt out.

But recently I found out that I am no longer that fit or capable perhaps in future I will try to visit places without any stress or rush even staying in a hostel, capsule hotel or dorm felt uncomfortable most likely will choose a hotel or a private room instead.

Before covid I was still able to follow such itinerary maybe age is a factor I am in my 30s now.

Accepting a paycut ?

Hi all I have a question how many of you here actually accepted a pay cut and can I know what will be your reasons for doing that??

In my opinion it is not a good idea to do that to accept a lower pay that you are not happy with .

temp jobs or contract roles seriously no more perm anymore

Hi all,

Anyone noticed that perm roles they are very hard to find nowadays especially mnc it seems like they no longer exist anymore what is the point of joining such firm where they tell you to join as contract then say will convert in the end of dont have leh ........... Better to target those firms that stated perm seriously even those senior levels they also under contract roles like Directors wow I am surprised.

What happened to the older days where there used to be more perm I spoken to some Juniors, they too told me benefits don't matter anymore to them so long jobs still remain by their side even if they accidentally exceeded the number of paid leaves then will use up unpaid leaves .......

I also noticed that firms hired agency to source for applicants even applying direct nowadays no longer works.

I really think no point to join such firms better ask them the purpose why contract roles instead of perm.

Felt nothing without a job title

Hi all ,

For those being retrenched out of the sudden not sure if you suddenly felt you are nothing without a job title? I am in my 30s jobless about a year for those of you who can go jobless for more than a year I really not sure how you all did it with zero income coming in is totally impossible for me only after 1 year then I managed to secure some role in between I was doing some mystery shopper roles or temp covering jobs for temporary income if not very draining

Anyone had the same situation as me?

Hi all ,

I am in my late 30s I was jobless for 1 year after I resigned after my job role changed but I don't feel any regret didn't know that I managed to secure the role that I wanted after 1 year plus the thing is this is that normal for me to keep on doing contract roles then my contract end because the company told me you are under agency and this is also a contract role either they extend if there is still something or if not they don't ..........

Felt being treated like a fool or played out by company cannot keep on doing this for the rest of my life under agency of course my benefits being makan by them

of course, my mental health was badly affected too it wasn't easy at all for those having family how will your husband or wife understand what you went through and those in a relationship boyfriend or girlfriend relationship will he or she understand as well?

anyone else had the same situation as me there is no job security at all?

no nasty or rude comments thankyou
