I got it! I got the L3 position at AWS

Excited to officially share that I’ve accepted an Engineering Operations Technician (L3) position with AWS!
This has been a goal I’ve been working toward for a long time. Countless hours of studying electrical systems, mechanical troubleshooting, interview preparation, and learning Amazon’s Leadership Principles all paid off.
I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who supported me along the way. This is just the beginning—I plan to learn as much as I can, become the best technician possible, and work toward an L4 Engineering Operations Technician role.
Here’s to the next chapter. Time to get to work.

Final interviews have been scheduled and who’s interviewing me. AWS DCEOT Position.

Hi, my final interviews are scheduled, and I am aware of who my interviewers are. I’ve done my research on them and have some questions prepped to ask during my interviews. (there’s three of them)
My main reason for this post is to ask, would it be weird to reach out to the person or persons that are interviewing me before the interview? I found one on LinkedIn. I was curious on reaching out and letting him know about how enthusiastic and excited I am about to position.

I’ve done more research on the topic I found out that other Pre-Amazonian’s have reached out to their interviewers before and have gotten kudos for such. Just wondering in today’s norms does that ever happen or have y’all ever done that? Or would you ever do it?

EOC/DCEO at AWS, interview in less than 10 days.

Hey guys… I’m super duper nervous about my interview on the 30th with Amazon for a position of a DCEO in VA area.
Little back story about me, I zero and I mean zilch experience in a data center BUT… I have more than 5+ years of experience in HVAC commercial and residential. I’ve worked on a lot of what some would call “mission critical” infrastructures.
The main jist of this post is to get some feedback from yall to see what I need to be honing in on in terms of study material.
Wish me luck!
