Thanks for all the year

I'm leaving Shadow PC, and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you before I go.

It's been 6 years now that I've been a customer. I started boarding school, on an iPad, then moved on to the Shadow Box, Macbook . Back then, as a student who traveled a lot, it was honestly incredible to have a powerful PC that fit in a bag or could be launched from a tablet. It let me do things I never could have done otherwise with the hardware I actually had on hand and my budget.

There were ups and downs over those 6 years, issues and frustrations, like probably a lot of you here. But looking back, Shadow was with me through a big chunk of my life, from high school all the way to today.

If I'm leaving, it's not out of resentment: I finally got the chance to buy myself a real desktop PC. After all these years, that was a milestone I wanted to hit.

So, thank you Shadow, and thanks to this community. Good luck to everyone still here.❤️❤️

Aqara U200 motor slipping/clicking issue during calibration and start

Hello everyone,
I’m having a frustrating issue with my new Aqara U200 smart lock, and I'm hoping someone here might have encountered something similar or has a solution.

The problem:
The lock frequently fails to calibrate or properly lock/unlock because the motor seems to struggle at startup. It makes a loud clicking/slipping sound, and the app often reports that the lock is "blocked" or jammed, even when it shouldn't be.

What I've observed and tested:

  1. Manual operation: When I turn the thumbturn by hand, the deadbolt moves completely freely and smoothly. There is no physical resistance or binding.

  2. The weird part: If I manually "help" the thumbturn just a tiny bit at the very beginning of its rotation, the motor takes over successfully and can easily throw the deadbolt all the way in or out. It feels like it just lacks the initial torque or power to start moving.

  3. I am using the official Aqara cylinder

  4. Mechanical alignment: The lock itself is securely mounted to the door with absolutely no play or wobble. I have also tried fully lubricating the deadbolt and the strike plate, but the behavior remains exactly the same.

  5. Position dependency: Sometimes, if the mechanism is left at a specific halfway point, it manages to start and rotate properly on its own, but this is completely inconsistent.

Has anyone faced this initial torque issue with the U200? Is there a known fix, a hidden torque setting in the app that I missed, or did I just get a defective unit with a faulty internal clutch/motor?
Thanks in advance for your help!
