Monitor not working anymore
Monitor is an MSI Optix G24C4, 27 inch.
Ever since last summer when I came back from a 2 month vacation, my monitor would flicker with horizontal lines when I would boot it up after some time of it being off, but it would go away after some time. Gradually, this started getting worse until recently when I kept it off for 3 days and now upon turning it on it shows some small lines and then shows black completely. It's not a gpu issue as it happens regardless of the HDMI cable being plugged in or not.
What should I do here? I've had the monitor for 5 years now. Is it worth taking for repair or should I just get a new monitor?
