Spoilers for Oathbringer. I hope I have the right flair! Sorry if I don’t.

I just finished I-6 on Oathbringer, so If my question is RAFO, please let me know.

I just finished the part where Ulim has the 9 listeners sacrifice themselves for the Fused without their knowledge. My question is if there are only these 7? Or are there more? (Venli survived, and one listener was crushed by a rock).

I am a bit confused because Moash meets a couple before this interlude, and even killed one. So, does the interlude take place before Part 2. Or are they completely different Fused?

Also, are these Odium’s champions that the Stormfather mentions? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I’m playing my first game as England and I had a question. My original plan for the Hundred Years’ war was to just spam agitate liberty and sabotage reputation on French vassals to keep them disloyal so they wouldn’t join in any wars I had with France. However, Flanders, Brittany and Normandy just randomly decided to become my vassals? Is there something specific I did to do this or is it just a random event? That is making my wars against France extremely easy, so I’m wondering if I can just do it to all their vassals?

I am about 100 pages into Oathbringer, so if my question is a RAFO, please let me know!

I had finished WoR a few months back and I just had a few questions about surges and spren. I remember at the beginning of WoR, Shallan and Jasnah were discussing their Sprens after Shallan saw the little Spren in Jasnah’s hand; when Jasnah gave Shallan the book. Jasnah explained that every Radiant has two surges, and these surges are granted to them by a bond with a spren.

My first question is: Does the type of Spren you bond affect the surges you receive? If another honorspren bonds someone, will they have the same surges as Kaladin? Or if another “Pattern” bonds someone, will they have the same powers as Shallan?

My second question might be a RAFO, but what are the Lightweavers second surge? I might’ve completely missed it, but what is Shallan’s other power apart from lightweaving? Is it soul casting?

Which leads into a similar question, if soul casting without a caster is a power that requires a Spren, then what order does Jasnah belong to and what is her second surge?

Does anyone have any good book recommendations on the history of the Varangian Guard? I think it’s such a cool piece of history, and would like to learn more about them! I would be interested in a complete history, or even a smaller, more detailed part of their roles in the Byzantine Empire. Thanks!
