Maintenance for B Braun Perfusor Space Syringe Pumps

Hi all, small clinic guy looking for anyone that knows of a company that can do the PM for B Braun Perfusor Space syringe pumps. Hesitant to buy all the calibration tools since we only have two (qty: 2). Might get crazy and buy a third.

Any 3rd parties out there that have the tools?

Thrifting was ruined by preference of low and inexpensive goods, not "too many people in using it"

I've heard so many people say thrifting was ruined by "so many people doing it." I disagree with this; it's a lot deeper.

My grandparents saved their money up for fancy furniture and high quality clothing, not a bigger home. My parents saved up their money for vacations and high quality clothes with about the same priority of a bigger home.

My generation (or at least from what I see) seems to get shirts for $10 that start to lose threads after 4 washes, furniture made from compressed cardboard at IKEA for $50, and a big home in a nice neighborhood is the biggest expense.

What winds up in the thrift store then? Nothing of value because I didn't buy furniture or clothing that would last more than 5 years anyways.

A lot of criticism of society misses the actual logic required to solve it.

My opinion is that most people are bad at talking about societal issues, at least on online. No matter what issue I see discussed, it's not long until someone starts leaning into the neanderthal brain, with lines like:

"Her voice is so annoying"

"He smells like poop"

"She looks fake"

"He probably beats his wife"

"She has evil eyes"

There is such thing as a "gut feeling" that you are being lied to, but that tends to reward the more effective liars rather than using our actual modern logic. Some of the best liars I've known passed undetected for decades.

Why are we like this? Using logic is hard. You have to understand complex multifaceted issues like the economy, education, communities. Look, how can you put the world in order if your own family doesn't want to listen to you? Could we have a dose of humility then when trying to solve the world's problems and realize we or any one human does not have all the answers?

I admit I'm dancing around politics here, but if people were humble enough to realize complex problems tend to have equally complex solutions (talk to a surgeon or engineer for goodness sakes), then maybe a world or country or community is a bit more complicated than making decisions based off of appearances, vibes, traditions, etc.

Facts and statistics are harder to get but more important than tribal mentalities and caveman emotions. Do people lie with facts and statistics? Yes, but if you're not using your caveman brain, you might just realize that person holding up an oddly labelled bar graph may be lying to you.

So when I see in an argument that I agree with people beginning to attack the person and not the idea, then my opinion is the problem is doomed to repeat, likely just with another face.

Hope I made you think.

What are the ACTUAL policies for smart watches in schools/states that have a cell phone ban?

For reference I am in the US and in a state that has a statewide cell phone ban in schools.

My kids are getting older and I was thinking of getting them a smartwatch with limited call capabilities, but that is clearly banned (i.e. any electronic with device-to-device communication capabilities) but then I realize, I have a watch that can send music over bluetooth, does that count? Are teachers going to say any watch with an LED screen or screen that can turn off is not allowed?

What have been your experiences?
