Looking for an experienced property/inheritance lawyer in Karachi — preferably someone who has handled old property disputes, Hiba/Gift Deed cases, and properties.
I need legal guidance regarding a family property matter dating back to the 1990s.
My Nana/Nani owned a 400 sq. yard house in Federal B Area, Block 13, Karachi. During their lifetime, the property was effectively divided into two portions:
\* 200 sq. yards remained in use and possession of my Nana and his family. This portion was later sold.
\* The other 200 sq. yards was said to have been gifted to a relative.
As far as we currently understand, the gift was originally verbal, and there is a Gift Deed signed by my Nani, since the property was in her name. However, we are unable to find proper supporting documentation clearly identifying/demarcating the gifted 200-yard portion, such as an approved map or other relevant property records.
There are also questions regarding the sale of the other 200-yard portion, because we are trying to understand how exactly that portion was legally identified and transferred if there was no formal subdivision/map available.
I currently have the original property file and related documents in my possession.
I am specifically looking for a lawyer who can examine the complete chain of this case.
Can anyone inspect the original documents, obtain/check the relevant government records and advise us on whether there is a viable case.
If anyone has personally dealt with a reliable lawyer for old Karachi property disputes, inheritance matters, Hiba/Gift Deeds, title disputes or cancellation/declaration suits, please share their contact details or recommendations.
Thank you.
