My narc husband (32 M) gave me (30 F) the big discard in November 2024 and blocked me everywhere. Spent the whole time abroad and came back a couple of months ago. I had the whole schebang, the love bombing, the devaluation and the discard, the smear campaign, getting all our friends against me etc etc.

I worked on getting back to school and spirituality and healed well. I didn't file for divorce and neither did he. We don't have kids.

Today, he texted me that he wants to meet me alone.

A couple of days before that, I had an extended family member telling me indirectly that he's back in the country, another telling me to work on the marriage, another to give this another shot, someone telling me that he wants a divorce and someone telling me he wants to reconcile.

After keeping me blocked for 2 whole years, why would he suddenly want to see me?

Your experience and your suggestions are welcome.

And no, I'm not stupid enough to go back, i just want to know what to expect from that meeting.

They all say that narcissists apologise and say all the right things, and keep doing the same shit. They say they hoover. They say they keep a check.

My narcissistic husband didn't hoover.

He never apologised ever! Not after the discard, not before.

I was discarded primarily because I stopped apologizing for things I didn't even do.

I stopped caring about his goal post.

It's been 18 months since the discard. He's not reached out, even once.

He's never texted.

He unblocked me a few times but blocked me a couple of days later.

I have no idea where he is.

He's not even initiating the divorce.

I'm waiting for a professional milestone of mine and would initiate at my end, but there's another 6 months to that. He has no idea about it.

But, i often wonder, is he even a narc.

Why wouldn't he divorce me.

We've been separated for longer than we actually were married at this point.

We're both young.

Last I heard he was on all dating apps, so should have found someone by now.

What's he waiting for?

Previously, to check if you're blo-cked or not, you could check the verified security code with the contact, I think that feature doesn't work anymore. Can anyone let me know without texting the other person.
