Imagine These Two….
Imagine these two elderly women turned cats - well, one possessing a lucky cat figurine. Yzma (The Emperor’s New Groove) and Turbo Granny (Dandadan).

I just thought about a potential Wild Kratts episode idea.
A small group of Wild Kratt Kids contact the Tortuga after one of their friends discovers what appears to be an abandoned baby wild animal (like a flying squirrel for an example) and grows attached to it.
Despite his/her friends’ concerns and dissuasion, the child is determined to keep it and refuses to let it go.
As the Wild Kratts crew searches for the baby animal’s family and learns more of its natural behaviors, it wanders off, leading everyone involved on a Creature Adventure through its natural habitat.
Along the way, the child learns of how the baby animal’s species survive in the wild and why it’s important to never keep wild animals as pets.
In the end, the child realizes the greatest act of kindness is letting the baby animal return to where it truly belongs.
What do you think?
I just woke up with this curious idea.
What if at one point during his convention appearance, Marty Grabstein cosplays as The Great Eggplant?
I can imagine him entertaining the crowd in the game of “The Great Eggplant says…”
What’s your favorite non-scared reactions from CTCD characters?
Mine is Muriel’s 🤨 reaction after Eustace asked Muriel if she’s sure she doesn’t want to come along to visit her mother-in-law, Ma Bagge.
Anything to keep her peace…
A follow-up to my previous post about real life creatures named after famous fictional characters that could be featured on The Wild Kratts.
Just imagine hearing these common/scientific names from the Kratt brothers.
Imagine the Kratt brothers (in their Gray Wolf Creature Power Suits) from The Wild Kratts encounter Legoshi (Gray Wolf) and Jack (Labrador) from Beastars.
Here is my personal take on Eustace Bagge.
Everyone who watched Courage the Cowardly Dog would know for a fact that Eustace is a cranky, greedy old farmer who acts like a jerk to nearly every folk around, would endanger himself and Muriel for millions of bucks, bullies Courage as much as he breathes - even to the point of allying with the notorious villain group in attempt to get rid of Courage for good.
But even so, Eustace is ironically sincere about being an unapologetic, greedy jerk and unlike some of the show’s villains, Eustace doesn’t pretend to be nice and noble (not even to Courage), but instead lashes out at most folks he sees and threatens to get his mallet. Maybe that’s one part Muriel appreciates about Eustace despite his flaws, especially since he’s sometimes nice when alone with her.
Eustace can be funny and insufferable all at once but his sincerity is still much appreciated.
What’s your favorite Eustace’s slapstick accident that you made you bust a gut no matter how many times you rewatch it?
Mine are both in “Little Muriel” when Eustace yells at the dead air over his dinner and suddenly gets hit by the plane Courage landed, and in “Robot Randy” when Courage accidentally struck his pickaxe on Eustace’s foot, instantly ballooning it to a swollen grape.
I don’t see why “Where There’s a Wilt, There’s a Way” couldn’t have just been a full 22-minute episode, especially since that Bendy episode should have been scrapped as nothing good came out of it.
Personally, even if Wilt was able to confidently assert himself in the end, at least Frankie and the other imaginary friends he helped could have recorded the entire basketball game, then invite him for a make-up watch as act of gratitude, while also shutting the door on Bloo, cutting off his complaints about not getting his salt n’vinegar chips - at least that’s how I’d end the episode.
Imagine if Kobeni (Chainsaw Man) had made a contract with The Bunny (The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy).
I like how Precure explored different themes throughout the franchise from flowers to music. But if there’s a future Precure show that has Japanese mythology or folklore theme, how do you think it would turn out?
My guess is that the Cures would draw powers from legendary guardian spirits while trying to balance between the human and spirit world.
Each Cure could represent a Japanese mythological figure or folklore like Princess Kaguya, The Grateful Crane, and Momotaro with villains and monsters representing old legends that serve as cautionary tales modern generations disregarded.
Plus the Cures’ uniforms can closely resemble a shrine maiden (Miko).
Do you think this theme could work for a Precure series? If yes, what kinds of yokai, deities, and folklore would you like to see represented?
Which favorite character from any media of yours would headbang to HAYAsii’s “Hunting Soul” from Dandadan?
My favorite character Bloo would definitely headbang along to the beat.
What are the best mic drop moments on Courage the Cowardly Dog show?
My personal favorite is…
“And you sir are extremely…bald.” 😎
- Hunchback of Nowhere
Which Courage’s “helping the antagonist” moment was the most wholesome?
Personally it’s hard to pick one since Courage helping and befriending the monsters of the day (even human villains) despite being tormented by them, shows what a big heart he has.
But I would have to go with The Mask, which Kitty was initially thought to be the episode’s primary antagonist for repeatedly assaulting Courage at first opportunity until the episode introduced the true antagonist, Mad Dog.
Needless to say, I still consider Kitty as “semi-antagonist” who Courage helped by rescuing and reuniting her with Bunny.
A lot of creatures were interestingly named after fictional characters and famous people, including the Liturgusa Krattorum named after no other than the Kratt bros.
A Dumbo Octopus (named after Disney’s flying elephant) was also featured in “Creatures of the Deep Sea” Special.
But can you imagine hearing names of these creatures if by chance, they were featured on the Wild Kratts?
Pop culture references integrated into science.
Who’s your favorite character who was a psychotic nemesis but later became the protagonist’s ally and friend?
Mine would be Crona from Soul Eater (anime version). They started out as an enemy with unstable personality (for tragic reasons) against the DWMA until they befriended Maka and turned over a new leaf.
The one time I mimicked Eustace’s “Stupid dog!” (Deep gravel voice and all) was in Little Muriel when Courage found out at last minute, he was “painting” Muriel’s rocking chair with quick-drying glue. 🤦♀️
So these adorable looking filter feeders are called Skeleton Panda Sea Squirts, discovered not long ago in Kumejima Island, Japan, known for their skeletal looking blood vessels in their transparent bodies and black markings resembling a panda face.
I wonder how the Wild Kratts would react to these sea squirts upon discovering them while swimming in the coastal waters of Kumejima Island?
Even after reading the label, it will take me every ounce of positive self-talk to not telekinetically blow a hole in the ceiling.
