Made this axe by hand — thinking about doing a giveaway too

Spent quite a bit of time shaping and finishing this one, so I recorded the process from start to finish.
Still experimenting with different shapes and finishes, and I’d love to hear what you guys think of this one.

Also, I’ve been thinking about doing a small giveaway and giving a few handmade pieces away to people in the community.

Not announcing anything yet — just curious: would you guys actually be interested in something like that?

I made this blue one-piece blade entirely by hand — here’s the process

Finished another handcrafted piece recently — this time a blue one-piece blade.

The whole piece was shaped and finished by hand, and I recorded the process from the early stages to the final result.

I really like how the blue material changes under different lighting, especially once the surface starts taking its final shape.

Still experimenting with different materials, shapes, and finishes, so I’d love to hear what you think.

Would you keep the blue finish, or try a different color next?

Took some advice from friends and tried it under the light — the blade looks absolutely stunning. ✨

I wanted to show how this piece looks with strong light behind it. The translucency and internal texture become much more visible, and the appearance changes quite a bit depending on the angle.

Made entirely by hand.

What do you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Handmade knapping, incredibly satisfying (immersive version)

Would love to hear your thoughts on this piece

Quick note: cat’s‑eye glass (man‑made glass), not natural opal / natural cat’s‑eye gemstone.

Not steel. Not stone. Man-made opal. Thoughts?

Made this as a collectible/display piece. Curious what you guys think of the material and finish.

Made this Kukri-inspired piece from stone — full build process

This is one of my recent experiments — a Kukri-inspired piece handcrafted from stone.

The video shows the process from the initial shaping to grinding, refining the curves, and the final finish.

Working with stone is quite different from steel. The material has its own patterns, colors, and character, so even when I make the same design twice, the finished pieces never look exactly the same.

This piece is made as a collectible/display piece rather than a functional blade.

I’m still experimenting with different shapes, materials, and finishing techniques, and I’d really appreciate feedback from people who actually make knives.

What do you think of the final result?
