Rx reflection

hi all - just wanted to share a success for me: LDN has been helpful for my IC (and also my seasonal allergies...) I have been getting it through Ageless Rx - which was an easy and straight forward process. I went this route bc my PCP and Urologist had never prescribed it and did not know much about it. I have been on it for a few months - starting at a very low dose and titrating up to 3mg for now. Because I have not had a flare since coming up to 3mg, which is great, I was able to go back to my PCP and Urologist and share that it was successful and my side effects were just temporary (fatigue after titrating up each time for a few days). They now are comfortable writing the Rx for me, so it will now be covered by my insurance, which is an HMO - my healthcare system is also my insurer. They also are willing to write a doctors note to work if I titrate up again and am fatigued (Ageless Rx will not write a doctors note for your work). Just wanted to share in case this strategy works for others!!

can I do it?

hi hi! I have a 2017 MacBook Pro that is in great physical condition and working totally fine except for the logic board is dead. Apple says it is not worth it to fix and that I should buy a new one, which is frustrating. I am up for trying to replace the logic board on my own through ifixit - but it says it is level "difficult". I have never attempted to repair an apple product before. Is this too hard or do y'all think it is worth a try? Thanks!

One body area a day?

Is there a reason not to do 20 mins a day - focus on one are of the body? As opposed to a 60 min+ workout that hits multiple body parts a couple times a week? Thanks!

palermo house?

Hello! Does anyone have experience with the Modo Couch from Palermo House? It looks cool - but the return policy is pretty brutal - so we are pretty reluctant to take a chance. If you do have - how long have you had it? How is it holding up? Pics would be helpful. Thanks in advance 💚

Advice on cash

Good morning FMs 💚💚 I have a question about emergency savings. I work for a non profit, that due to T*ump admin, will likely lose our federal funding at end of FY26, resulting in me losing my job. I have about 9 months in emergency reserves (renter, no kids) - $34k. I am currently maxing out 401k and Roth IRA; my org also offers a 12% 401k contribution - no match needed. My partner and I are slightly ahead of Money Guy curve for retirement savings based on our age; our salaries totaling $200k in a HCOL area. I am thinking about reducing my 401k contribution in order to increase cash reserves - maybe at least to 50k. What do folks think? Good idea? Thanks everyone 💚
