Why are hotel showers designed like this?
Why do so many hotel showers seem to be designed so you have to get in before turning on the water?
It feels like the setup forces you to step inside, close the door, and then deal with whatever temperature comes out first…either freezing cold or scalding hot. But if you try to turn it on first, water sprays everywhere and soaks the bathroom floor.
As a meeting planner, I stay in hotels very often and I’ve noticed this over and over. I don’t understand!
