Unwillingly fasted after jaw surgery. Lost 20lbs in 21 days
For context I’m 6’1, 22M, after my surgery my jaw was wired shut for 3 weeks so I was on a liquid diet, I pretty much only drank water and milk for the whole 21 days and lost 20lbs

Roast my grad job cv! Be as brutal as you can
context:
Reason why my BSc is 4 years is because I had surgery this year and had to defer all my exams to next year
As for the Barnett waddingham project, there was a collaboration between bw and my uni
Im going to start applying for grad jobs in September - advice will be greatly appreciated
I completely admit that my whole uni life I’ve been lazy af and avoiding my work due to being distracted in other areas. I got 50% in 1st year and 45% in 2nd year (weighted 25% of total degree)
I just completed 3rd year however due to having surgery my senior tutored authorised me to be able to defer my exams to next year - which I’m extremely grateful for as if I took the exams now I genuinely would’ve got a 3rd class.
Anyway next year I need 65% in every exam to graduate with a 2:1
I’ll be doing all the exams **Externally** meaning I don’t go to any lectures or study sessions, I just go in in may 2027 to do my exams then graduate in July - I also don’t pay any tuition fee
Anyway, is anyone doing / has done this? I’m hyped cause it’s an opportunity for me to heal properly and get my act together and secure the 2:1, but yeah I’m kinda worried for some reason cause I did so bad in 1st and 2nd year
Any advice ? I study BSc Mathematics for context
I deffered all my exams to the supplementary period but it’s looking like I’m going to have to defer them all again to next may and sit externally. Anyone done this before ?
my left side has a lot of pain and feels weak when eating, my right side feels completely fine
I also get pulsing in the left side of my palate when walking or lying down and when I lick my gum (above my teeth) it kinda has dull pain
I can’t even do basic human things eat food properly or sleep lying down meaning I only sleep like 5hrs a night (a few weeks ago I was lying down and woke up to the entire left side of my pain in pain) and this has affected my mental health a lot
To make it worse my university aren’t even letting me push back my exams to next year, and I haven’t had an orthodontist in 4 months as he’s retired.
I guess this is kind of a rant post, anyone else relate or have any advice
I had jaw reconstruction surgery in December and I applied to defer my exams to August and the request was accepted
However a month ago things started to go real bad, I woke up and the whole left side of my face was pulsing and numb and I haven’t been able to do basic human stuff like eat solid foods or sleep lying down - Ive been sleeping sitting up on a chair like a psycho
anyway I sent another deferral request to defer my exams to may 2027, meaning I would sit my 5 exams as an EXTERNAL student (I wouldn’t attend lectures or pay any tuition fee, just turn up for the exams)
On my application form I attached a note from my doctor explaining my procedure and the affects it had on my physical and mental health, however the wellbeing team rejected my request since I already deferred once this year to August and they feel the extra 3 months is enough time
Any advice pls I applies for an appeal and I have to write a letter and show extra proof
I deferred all 5 of my exams to the August supplementary period, so I have 100 days to learn all 5 modules from scratch, I haven’t been revising or attending lectures this whole year
I know it’s a lot of time but I’m seriously doubting myself and get anxious even thinking about them
I need 55% on each exam to graduate with a 2:1 but my brain is telling me that’s impossible
Is this enough time?
basically here’s my life story
I was quite smart growing ups I did my gcses and got 9988777765 then went on to do A levels and got AAA in Bio chem and maths
Here’s where everything went wrong,
I decided to study maths (albeit at a good RG uni), I struggled a lot and ended up with a 2:2. I applied for lots of accounting and other roles that require a 2:2 but was unsuccessful, so I decided to do a PGCE
My pgce year was great, but now I’m about to start 1st year as a teacher.
When I go on LinkedIn I get kinda sad and feel as though I was meant to do a more prestigious job.
Also I dread telling people I’m a teacher, and hearing that pitiful “ahh that’s nice” phrase that all the aunts and uncles do, I’m asian for context so yeah anyone outside of medicine law engineering isn’t looked upon fondly lol
Anyone else relate

So I was describing a graph and I said
“In GB whittams book the graph is modelled against time, but I did it against space for originality”
Then my marker said “I checked and GB Whittam actually did it the same way as yours”
What was meant to come out of my mouth was “in courants book the graph is modelled against time, but I did it against space for uniqueness ”
I was flustered the whole 20min viva
I didn’t plagiarise in my project I actually cited it, but yeah I’m worried my viva marker is gonna report me
