Biopsy

I did a biopsy to rule out AGA and they said they’d email me the results but they called me today saying they arranged a phone call. I’m panicking, does that mean they found out something and want to discuss what does it mean. Surely if they found out nothing they’d just email me I’m a really anxious person and I don’t know what to do now. I was on the phone to reception begging them to let me know now and send me an email but they refused.

Telogen effluvium biopsy

Did anyone lose short hair with te and did a biopsy and it ended up being true te? Like is it normal to lose short hairs with te? Im debating getting a biopsy to confirm because I’ve been losing hair since October 2025.

Any advice I’d really appreciate it

So it all started when I got the mirena iud, I believe that was my trigger and I’ve been shedding since late October. I got the mirena IUD removed in December so it’s nearly been 5 months and I’m still shedding. I went to one trichologist and 2 dermatologist ( had to pay for them since the NHS didn’t refer me) and all said it’s TE but I’m an extremely anxious person and I’m feel like the front of my parting is getting wider everyday. Does it get better idk if I should start minoxidil or just wait it out but I don’t want to lose any more hair.
