For anyone that actually likes their company and job…

I’m on the job hunt. Feels like I’m looking for something that doesn’t exist though. Was let go a few weeks ago

Based in NYC and open to remote/hybrid model.

Can’t do the whole “hunter rockstar fast paced” bullshit. Just need a solid company where I can make decent money to afford my rent..

Looking for AE/AM roles or maybe even CS.

If you like your job or company lmk which one :)

(Sorry if I sound down. I am lol)

A reminder for this season ❤️

Last season a majority of us really really disliked Mickey. I certainly took part in the online banter and discourse and at times maybe let it go from game talk to personal. Something I’m not proud of.

Months later, Mickey passed away. A young woman who we had watched on our TV every single day for weeks on end. It felt weirdly parasocial and personal. Maybe not for everyone, but for me.. the first thing I thought of was my online posting regarding her.

As we embark on a new season with personalities I can already see rubbing people the wrong way, this is a reminder to do your best to keep it game related. I know it all bleeds into one another at times. But the commentary should steer clear of becoming too personal, if you can help it. Would you write that comment knowing it could be this persons last few months on earth ?

I am not trying to be the morality police here. I know once the season takes off and we see real things we dislike it will be hard to not want to discuss it. But a true regret of mine is ever speaking even slightly badly of Mickey months before her passing. If this is something that makes you feel bad too… then join me in trying to create a more kind space here.

Happy BB season to all ❤️

Influencer vs. Content Creator

I’m curious what everyone would define an “influencer” as, versus someone else who makes their money on social media and creates specific content to do that.

For me, influencers ARE snark worthy. Girls pursuing a luxurious lifestyle and pushing consumerism and wasting their money on the next trend. Every video and content is the same. Nails, Pilates, coffee, outfit of the day, makeup routine, brand trips. It’s the easiest job in the world and they are paid way too much for this. Hence the snark.

Then there are “content creators” in my eyes. Like someone who does comedy, skits, tutorials on a specific niche, someone who posts informational content on political climate, pop culture, news etc. people whose channels I genuinely enjoy following due to the content. To me - no reason for snark. The content is enjoyable and that’s how they make a living. I have no problem with it.

Does anyone agree ? Or do you have a different definition of influencer vs content creator or are they the same thing to you?

There is some grey area of course with people who do both. I think the quintessential influencer is the worse offender IMO. But curious on thoughts

James Charles

IMAGINE Alix Earle or Halley or acquired style making that video James Charles made about the woman asking for money who was laid off. The outrage would be x1000000.

If u support James Charles at this point ur … WEIRD
