There is no darkness that defeats the light

There is no darkness that defeats the light, and this dawn from Mendoza is the perfect proof. There are no new beginnings without endings and there is no eternal darkness, there will always be a ray of light that pierces through the darkness! The intensity of these colors is the energy that you need to overcome any challenge. The best beginnings are always born early!

El Quisco, Chile

Sometimes, the immensity is reduced to a single point of light. This photograph makes me think about how, in the midst of the gray monotony or the fog that sometimes envelops our routine, there is always a flash that resists going out. We do not need a perfectly clear sky nor a postcard sunset saturated with colors to find beauty; sometimes the raw honesty of a calm horizon and a sun that breaks through is enough. What does this landscape transmit to you?

One second to look (Mendoza street, Argentina)

Sometimes we go so fast that the scenery becomes blurry. We pass by incredible things, such as these flowers resisting under the snow, and we cannot see them.

We are obsessed with reaching somewhere, planning, solving, and we forget that magic is usually right in front of us in silence.

It only takes one second. A single second to stop ourselves, to be able to truly observe what surrounds us.

That instant of pause is not a waste of time; it is connecting. When you stop to look at the beauty of the simple things found in your environment, the mental noise turns off.

In that moment, in that silence, is where you truly listen to yourself and remember who you are, without filters or distractions. Do not pass yourself by.

Matear or not to matear, that is the question.

Hello, people! Quite a debate, right? For those of us who were born on this side of the river, matear is not an option, it is almost another organ of the body. But I know there are many here who still look at it from the outside or with distrust.

Is it worth joining this tradition? Forget about it, it is worth every single thermos! Matear in Argentina is much more than a herbal infusion; it is our way of stopping the ball in the middle of the daily craziness. It is the faithful companion when you study or work alone, and the best excuse to sit down and chat for hours with friends or family. It teaches us to share, to listen, and to respect the other person's time while the water gets hot.

If you have not tried it yet, give it a chance. At first, it might seem bitter, but I assure you that when you get the hang of it, it connects you with a unique moment of peace. Dare to prepare your own and have a great matear session, everyone!

Mendoza, Argentina

An ordinary afternoon is missed, at the shoreline of the Potrerillos dam, ready to relax our feet in the cold meltwater of the Mendoza mountain range, (photo taken in January).

Paperwork Question

Hello friends, I am unsure whether or not to make my first international purchase, as I have never done it before. Besides looking for the product and ensuring it says it ships to Argentina, are there any other requirements? Does Amazon take care of the import procedures, or how does it work? If possible, could someone share their step-by-step experience with me, so I can decide whether or not to try this out? Thank you very much in advance!

Expectations: We added integrated safe motion expecting less complexity x Reality: It wasn’t that simple.

On a recent machine, we moved away from a more traditional safety setup and started using more drive integrated safe motion functions. The expectation was pretty straightforward: less wiring, fewer separate components, cleaner cabinet design and a more flexible machine. And some of that absolutely happened.

What we underestimated was how much effort would shift into configuration, validation and making sure maintenance could actually understand what happened after a safety trip. The hardware became simpler, but the system itself didn’t necessarily feel simpler.

If you've implemented both approaches, did integrated safe motion genuinely reduce the total engineering effort for you or did it mostly move the complexity from wiring into software and validation?

Also curious whether the drive or motion platform you chose made a noticeable difference once the machine was being commissioned and supported

11th Gen Intel Laptop Graphics (Lenovo ThinkPad): Is there any viable spoof/patch for Metal and acceleration?

Hello everyone,

I am quite new to the Hackintosh community and recently installed macOS on my Lenovo ThinkPad laptop. I am currently running into issues with my graphics configuration. The system boots up fine, but I have no hardware acceleration at all, and Metal is not working.

Here are my hardware specifications:

  • CPU: Intel Core 11th Gen (Tiger Lake)
  • iGPU: Intel Iris Xe Graphics
  • Laptop Model: Lenovo ThinkPad

I have read scattered reports online about spoofing Device IDs via WhateverGreen to make Intel graphics work on newer machines. Has anyone successfully tried this method on an 11th-generation mobile processor, or is this architecture completely unsupported due to the lack of native Apple drivers?

I would appreciate any guidance, documentation, or advice you could provide. Thank you in advance for your time!
