If I get sky bow, which class specific AAs should I pump points into and how quickly can I get the AAs (level requirements?)

Is mass group buff a bust?

You spend 9 AA points to have an ability to deliver ONE buff to everyone nearby, right?

Seems a bit underwhelming.

Now if it were Mass group quick buff, then that would be really something!

Anyone spent the 9 AA on the doppelgänger AA to divert mobs attention to a copy of yourself?

Was the lemon worth the 9AA squeeze?

I have most of the best AAs maxed for my trio- a few I have not yet procured or only done rank one.

Of these remaining, which are highest priority for SK Wiz Enc or future trios? (I am trying to get general and archetype AAs for spread across different trios).

A while back I posted how my PC would freeze up at random after starting EQ legends requiring a hard reboot.

This persisted despite using lowest graphics settings and failing down to 30 FPS.

After researching more, I ended up going to my graphics card settings and setting something called V synch to “wait for vertical refresh” always on.

It seems to have fixed the issue - fingers crossed.

Some of you mentioned you also experienced the freeze - try this V synch setting change and see if it helps.

So I was thinking of just getting lowest rank in a few:
Packrat
Finishing blow

Any other under the radar AAs that you can put 1-3 points in and walk away with better quality of life?

I got mastery of the past ranks 1 and 2 and it helped a lot.

Obviously quick buff was worth it and the horse.

I zoned into Solusek’s Eye and promptly fell into the lava.

Somehow I didn’t die and managed to swim until I zoned into Nagafen’s lair (I guess this is Sol B?).

Killed a few bats and kobolds but mob density was not what I expected.

Should I move to the Hole?

If so, should I just jump in the hole, die and ranger gate to a safe point?

I am using the euphemism “buy the horse” to mean committing to SK or Paladin as my primary class in a trio rounded out by ENC and WIZ.

I am stingy with AA points so to help me commit to one or the other I am going to buy the steed for either the SK or Paladin to force myself to commit.

Here’s the issue- I am starting over and have both SK ENC WIZ and PAL ENC WIZ at level 11 in Befallen.

I noticed with my SK and minimal healing with lifetaps (at least at this level - had forgotten how bad they are) that I could use a heal here and there to minimize downtime.

The Paladin obviously would fulfill this healing role, but I don’t want to be shortsighted about the long game at such an early stage.

I could tell SK damage picked up significantly in mid 20s while leveling WIZ and DRU for ports - which was definitely worth it by the way.

So to those running SK WIZ ENC and PAL WIZ ENC, please give me your thoughts on the long game.

Are rogue poisons consumable?

And if so, does that make crafting / buying them a pain in the ass?

I was hoping for a permanent poison ability without having to restock/recraft.

Any word on whether the mentoring system is being implemented and if so, when?

I have a friend who may be starting a brand new character and would like to group with him without creating a whole new character on a different server.

For all you ogres in Ogguk, don’t make this dumbass mistake.

In beta, I noticed Rlabok the adventuring merchant in Ogguk sold malachite for magicians and tiny daggers for enchanters.

When I looked today, he was selling none of those.

I thought, do vendors sell out of things?

Turns out, I had some box ticked in the vendor menu that said filter by what you can use.

When I unticked it, the items reappeared in the vendor menu.

Something happened I had never experienced in beta.

When I changed my loadout from SK bezerker to SK enchanter at level 5, all of my equipped gear poofed.

I was naked, and none of the gear was in my bags.

When I swapped back to original loadout, the equipped gear reappeared.

This is rather annoying as I don’t want to be equipping and unequipping for every loadout.

Is there a fix for this?

Haven’t had time to do much since launch with work and all.

For those of you playing SK primary, how are you liking it so far?

So I purchased a Paladin class unlock token.

When I went to convert my ogre to Paladin in the tutorial, paladin is not showing up as a choice for ogre - just the usual available classes.

I thought tokens were supposed to unlock the class for any race.

Or am I doing something wrong / made a wrong assumption?

I see posts about getting items to a certain level then “removing the clicky effect.”

Let’s say I want to do this for the traveler boots you get in the tutorial.

What level do you have to get the boots to in order to do this?

Do you put the clicky effect into a ritual, hotbar or what in order to use it from then on?

I assume the boots would just provide AC only once the clicky is removed?

Finally are the plus 4 boots faster than the plus 2?
What effects are the plus 4 vs plus 2?
