Bybit account will be deleted
My Bybit account was suddenly banned for 43 days without any meaningful explanation. During this period, I had very limited communication from support and no clear information about what issue was being investigated or how long the restriction would last.
After more than six weeks, I finally received an email from the Bybit compliance department instructing me to remove all of my funds from the platform. However, no explanation or justification for the account restriction was provided. The email stated that I had only 120 hours to withdraw my assets and that the account would then be permanently deleted, with no further communication regarding the matter.
I understand that exchanges must follow compliance and risk-management procedures, but I found the complete lack of transparency unusual and concerning. As a customer, I expected at least a basic explanation of the reason for the restriction, especially after such a long period of account suspension.
The experience significantly reduced my confidence in the platform and its customer communication practices. I would advise other users to carefully consider the risks of keeping funds on centralized exchanges if account actions can occur without clear explanations.
