Why are Yuriko decks not including Mnemonic Betrayal?
I have looked at a lot of Yuriko lists over the last days to get inspiration for my own brew and noticed something. Almost no recent list update includes a copy of [[Mnemonic Betrayal]]. As a Dimir/Esper-Boy I had to learn that this is an auto-include in any of those color combinations. Why not here?
[[Mnemonic Betrayal]] it is not my favorite card and most of the times best to have a blue pip for pitching, but I do understand that in cases it can act as a 1-card-WinCon. Why does Yuriko not care?
Seeing that some lists slot a 4-mana Talion in the list, I was just thinking [[Mnemonic Betrayal]] might be the better pick here. I bet people tested this before, so I wanted to ask first.
Is the Yuriko game plan so focused on combat and Yuriko triggers that it is a bad card in the deck? Is Yuriko really too fast to make good use of the card.
