I’m just trying to figure out where to fly an rc plane (42in wing span) cub without needing to join a club. I’m open to joining a club but that’s kinda a last resort due to how busy they can get and strict rules (and sometimes being toxic to amateur pilots (I’m an amateur with larger planes, but I have experience with smaller scale ones))

if it’s possible I was wondering if there was a field open to the public that I could fly an RC plane. I’m open to the idea of joining a club so I can use their field, but most have extremely strict rules and are normally busy and required to pay a fee to gain access. I’m planning on 3D printing my own larger plane and put all of the components inside. I’ve only really flew smaller scaled planes so haven’t gotten my hands wet with larger scaled planes yet.
