For those who may not know, a trad wife (traditional wife) usually refers to a woman who chooses a more traditional role in marriage, such as focusing on homemaking, cooking, raising children, and supporting her husband, often while the husband is the main financial provider.

Some trad wives choose not to pursue higher education after high school or develop skills that could help them build an independent life. They may rely completely on their husbands for financial support and major life decisions.

So what do you think about them?

I’d like to hear different perspectives and experiences.

I understand why Bloodlines didn't work. It felt too disconnected from the original show, and fans wanted more of Sam and Dean's world. But Supernatural had such a HUGE UNIVERSE with so many stories to tell.

I think a limited series would have worked just fine. It didn't need another 10+ season show. Even an 8-episode mini-series could have been amazing.

Imagine a series about Crowley's rise as the King of Hell, Castiel's life as an angel and Heaven's politics, or Death and the Four Horsemen and their origins.

Sam and Dean were the heart of the show, but the world of Supernatural was much bigger than just them. There were so many characters and stories that could have carried their own series.

Do you think the problem was the ideas, the timing, or the network not wanting to expand the universe?

Personally, I really don't like them. I don't hate them, but I don't like them either.

I know some people find them funny, but they just don't work for me. Every time they show up, I feel like they interrupt the flow of the episode instead of adding anything to it. I never found their humor that entertaining.

They do have a few funny moments, but if their episodes were removed entirely, I honestly don't think the show would lose much. That's unlike other funny episodes, such as "Changing Channels" or "The French Mistake," which are hilarious while still being memorable and important to the series.

I'm curious if I'm in the minority here, because I often see people who seem to enjoy them. What do you think?

Is it a universal dad thing to say "I don't want a pet" and then become their biggest fan later? 😂

I got my cat almost 3 years ago. The first day I brought her home, my dad didn't talk to me for an hour and just looked at her like I had brought home a random creature from another planet.

He literally said: "Take that THING back to her previous owner!"

Fast forward 2 days later, and suddenly they're best friends. Now he puts her on his lap like she's his baby and sings lullabies to her.

Sir, wasn't this the same "THING" you wanted me to return? 😭

It's honestly so cute seeing how attached they became. The biggest pet haters somehow always end up being the biggest softies.

Do you have similar experiences with your dads and pets?

Dads, I need an explanation. Why do you act like you don't want a pet at first, but then two days later you're treating them like your own child? 😭

I hate how John treats Sam and Dean in two completely different shitty ways.

With Dean, he always expected him to stop being a child and act like a responsible adult. In S1E18,>! he blames Dean for being a kid for one moment instead of being Sam's father... which was John's job, not Dean's. Then !<again in S9E7>!, he leaves 16-year-old Dean in a boys' home for two months like he isn't even his son.!<

On the other hand, with Sam, it was the complete opposite. John never seemed willing to let him have a life of his own. He treated him like a child who had to be watched 24/7. When Sam wanted to go to university and have a normal life, John wasn't supportive at all. Instead, he pushed him away for years.

He was a horrible father to both of them, but it still amazes me how he managed to fail each of them in completely different ways, as if being a terrible dad in one way wasn't enough.

Why wasn't Kevin protected like the other prophets?

I don't get why Kevin wasn't protected like the other prophets of the Lord.

I know the archangels were dead, and they were supposed to protect the prophets, but what about the other angels? Maybe someone like Naomi or others?

After all, they are angels, and they are supposed to protect him. But we can see how easily demons can hurt him.

I really wish the writers had made Chrissy a permanent part of the Winchester family. Watching her move into the bunker and slowly become their little sister would've been such a great storyline. It would've been amazing to see Sam teaching her how to research, Dean training her for hunts while constantly worrying about her, and all three of them building a real home together. It also would've been really interesting to watch how having Chrissy around would help Sam and Dean grow as people and as older brothers.

I mean, they eventually did have a kid living in the bunker, but I feel like if it had been Chrissy, it would've been so much more fun. They deserved a chance to have a family, even if it wasn't a traditional one. I think that dynamic had so much potential, and I would've loved to watch it develop over multiple seasons.
