Haven’t played a TCG since the 90s. Decided to support this KS so that my nephew and I could enjoy some nostalgia. I got 2 booster boxes to play with but I’m wondering from those who opened boosters already are the cards a standard TCG size? I’m told double sleeving is the way to go if I want to use them. So far I ordered the 100 synth sleeves with my order. Should I get more? And is there a sleeve that will work inside them to double sleeve?

I’ll start by pointing out I haven’t played a TCG with physical cards since MTG revised in the 90s. I want to bring some of that nostalgia back for my nephew so I decided to back the cataclysm arcade release in kickstarter. With that release giving access to unique first issue cards I’m curious how to keep them safe but actually be able to use them… first and foremost I bought the game to play. But if I do happen to pull a mythic card is just sleeving it enough to keep it safe? Do any of you play with valuable cards in any games these days and if so what’s the method for keeping them safe?

How much importance do you place on the prize pack?
