I wanted Heroku like infrastructure on VPS I own

I have always been running my applications on virtual private servers but used heroku, aws, gcp etc professionally

Heroku used to have amazing developer experience that I've tried to replicate with open-source tools like Coolify or Dokploy but they either did too much or not exactly what I wanted.

I build DeployCrate to solve my own problem and create an infrastructure platform that works how just how I wanted it:

handle provisioning, deployments, updates, logs, health checks, and all the operational stuff.

I’m still in alpha, so I’d genuinely love some feedback.

If you’re using kamal, coolify, dokploy, or similar:

  • What’s the biggest pain point today?
  • Would you ever pay for something like this, or do you prefer running everything yourself?
  • What would make you switch?

Landing page feedback

Hi,

I’m trying to improve the positioning for my infrastructure product and would like to get some feedback on the current form

Especially around creating trust and the alpha access program.

Any thoughts appreciated, thank you!
