Need Advice for possible quick Mexico Trip
Hello! I have the next 2.5 weeks off and I was thinking of popping over to Mexico for about 4-5 days. I would like to bring my dad and have a chill vibe! Surfing if possible, historical sights is cool too, but both of these are not necessary. I just want to take advantage of my time off and I am struggling to find a good option.
I was thinking of choosing one of these: La Paz, Cabo, Todos Santos, or Isla Mujeres?
La Paz's downside that I see is people often say not to come during August as its 'unbearably' hot and not fun.
Cabo, Todo Santos appear to be having rain during this time and so that would not be great either.
Isla Mujeres requires decent travel time.
Does anyone have any insight or recommendations? I am open to other locations and even not Mexico if its a within 4/5hr flight from LAX. Thank you!
