Getting matched with people I didn’t swipe on

I have meet cute turned off and just this morning, I had 3 matches that I never swiped on. They don’t live in my city so I wouldn’t have swiped. I had one a few days ago as well. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Tipped well by first orders but larger order tipped $1.

I accepted this order because it was from the store across from me and the tips seemed decent for the mileage in my area. I hardly see orders over $40. After delivery I realized order C only tipped $1 but had the largest order out of the bunch and furthest drive. The first order had minimal items like 4 bags total. The second had bigger items but not super heavy but 2 8 count Pepsi bottle and 2 6 count Pepsi bottles. Decent tips for both with few items and less than 3 miles. Order 3 was over 8 miles from the second order, was almost $200 of groceries including a lot of milk, creamers, cold brew, gallon lemonade, and gallon tea. Once I arrived the instructions said to come into the screen door patio and leave on the deep freezer. I didn’t like that but it was rainy and I was afraid they would lower the tips so I did it. After seeing the $1 tip, I was holding out hope that they were going to increase afterwards if I followed drop off instructions but they did not. Thankful for order A and B or that wouldn’t have been worth it to me.

(P.S. I’ve used Instacart shopper off and on throughout the years when I’m lower on cash and having harder times financially but it’s not my main income. So I’m only gold but might be able to get to platinum before next quarter.)

Me a shopper had a run in with another Instacart shopper at Publix that was rude

Had a large shop only today at Publix. I placed the items on the shelf before scanning for the labels as I needed to count the bags. The back area of the Publix for shop only batches is a tight squeeze and they had a cart of candy blocking where I normally park my cart. So I parked in front of the shampooers but out of the way of the shelf, fridge section. There was a worker waiting to clock in sitting back there on a stool. As I finished printing my labels another Instacart shopper couple came behind and pushed there cart in front of the fridge and freezer section blocking it off. I proceeded to label the bags on the shelf as the husband loaded their shelf and the wife printed the labels. I had 2 fridge bags and 1 freezer bag left. They still were blocking the way so instead of waiting for them to move I squeezed in making it uncomfortable for them and put the bags in the fridge and freezer. As I was finishing putting the bags in the fridge, they had finished and were walking away. They had a conversation with the worker while they were back there and as they left they said something about some people having no home training. I assumed they were referring to me but instead of speaking up, I felt I didn’t need to argue with people who obviously were rude and inconsiderate. My parents did teach me to say excuse me, please and thank you, etc.; however, if someone is being inconsiderate then I don’t waste my energy going out of my way and give them the same energy they are giving me. We’re both there to do a job and I was almost finished so either they could’ve waited or pushed their cart near where mine was so they didn’t block me out. Sure I could’ve asked them to move; but once again, I’m not wasting my time on people that don’t think about anyone but themselves.
