Figuring out calorie maintenance

I’m almost going to be on month 3 of calorie counting and consistent weight loss, except for the last week. In the last week, I had a daily average of 2020 calories, highest it’s been since I started this. I’m a 27 year old man, 5’10 and currently 179.6lbs (started at 203lbs), same exact weight I was last week when I last weighed myself. I knew I was eating more this week but I figured I was still under maintenance so I’d get at least a few decimals off but seeing nothing felt shitty

I stand up and walk all day for work, I regularly lift heavy things, I do some weight lifting exercises at home. Even though my days off are mostly sedentary, I still would think I’m lightly active and that my maintenance would be a bit higher than normal. And yet here despite beeing under the amount recommended for a sedentary person of my size and weight, I still didn’t move the needle one bit

This week wasn’t the norm and I plan on doing better with this new one so I’m not discouraged but it sucks knowing that any sort of off week even if it’s not really bad can just halt progress this hard

I weigh myself in the morning, always in the same spot, no clothing, before drinking or eating anything and after using the bathroom. Is there something I’m missing?
