Why dont we talk enough/more about the Rohingya issue?

We can't properly sustain them while also struggling to sustain our own population with basic necessities first.

Rohingya birthrates are now higher than the Bengali birthrates in the country.

The refugee numbers are said to be higher than the estimated numbers.

There are Rohingyas that are leaving the camps without authorization, looking for jobs or even permanent settlement in this country.

Some are forging birth certificate, passports etc to pass as a Bangladeshi citizen.

Local Bangladeshi population is marrying refugees there there in Cox's Bazar Islamically or illegally or both.

These refugees are being exploited by other Bangladeshis with a low wage, making the natives there lose the opportunities for labour jobs.

There have been documented cases in which Rohingya individuals or groups have committed violent crimes against Bangladeshis.

Myanmar keeps promoting this "Rohingyas and Bengalis are the same" propaganda, because wow some people of the two groups that lived side by side for centuries happen to look the same while ignoring how different the two groups are culturally, linguistically and ethnically. And our own people are also falling for this racist propaganda because the majority of the two ethnic groups happen to share the same religion.

When these issues are already not being addressed enough/more, we have a group of people who wants to give Rohingyas the Bangladeshi citizenship due to "muslim brotherhood" while ignoring the fact that this is what the Burmese supremists and the Myanmar's racist government really wants, they want to erase the ethnic identity of these people and the fact that Arakan is their ancestrial land.

We may not be able to do anything by just talking but we aren't even talking about this. Can we atleast not bring attention to this issue? Because it is something that needs to be given attention atleast. This is a humanitarian issue. And for us especially, this is also an economical and regional issue.

Why is islamophobia so extremely insane in India or among some indians?

Look the thing is islamophobia is everywhere, West, East, North or South whatever.,, even within islamic countries or muslim majority countries there is islamophobia. But Wallahi i never seen the thing be so horrendous anywhere else on the globe. I cant tell much about actions but i can surely confirm how ill the thoughts are. The islamophobic groups in India seem to be so obsessed with muslims in general and they dont miss any chance to make an islamophobic remark. If any non muslim makes any sort of racial remarks on Indians/hindus all of them jump into counter racism/prejudice like calling Muslims names and these people have their own degratory slangs like "Halala", "Mujeet", "Love jihad", "Poopdullah" (they have many other variations of abdullah and abdul as slangs) WHEN THE OTHER PERSON AINT EVEN A MUSLIM, they just assume everyone hating on them for racial or religious reasons is or are muslims and thats looks like OBVIOUS projection. You could say the govt there is responsible for such thinking in the people. But the thing is many other govt and higher powers around the globe that are like this but nowhere else you will find this much hate against muslims in general even within the most conservative european nations or nations that cant bear islam or muslims in general. Forget just hating Muslims in general, the hate is so bad most of the pro Zionists will be found in India, literally you will not find people be that shameless about being pro Israel or pro Zionist like you will find in India. The islamophobia went so far that these such islamophobes are now also harassing NON INDIAN/NON SOUTH ASIAN muslims outside in different countries PUBLICLY, like wow. I could rant whole day on how bad it is and how badly they fantasize about harming Muslims, its like they dont even hate Islam that much, they just hate the people following the religion for NO REASON. Like they could care less about islam and would care more about how the muslim population around the world could be wiped out. And its not like the uneducated or illiterate or miserable people out there that have thoughts like this. THE EDUCATED AND WELL LIVING, BOTH OLD AND YOUTH does... They literally call their own indian muslim population "Pakistani" or "traitors" when trying to insult them or if the opinion of a muslim may clash with their ideology.

Now in no way im trying to state that all indians are like this. Im asking why is the hate so bad? And are indian muslims ok with this mentally? How are yall indian folks not mentally drained??? I dont even live in India but the hate is bad it makes me wish I didnt understand a bit of Hindi or other indian lingos. Literally if you are non south asian and dont understand any language in the subcontinent you would never know how horrendous the hate and the hate speeches/statements are (though they already say alot of vile things in English too). Islamophobic remarks never make any impact on me personally, but the fact that so many people who just wish we were dead and consider subhumans are so concentrated in one place that it just doesn't feel alright AT ALL.

Why do some people in our country have issues with free educational opportunities for girls?

I thought it was common sense to understand why girls get free education related opportunities in the country, but these bd netizens always have different things to say. Do people not realize girls are more likely to be deprived from accessing basic and higher education among families that lack the ability to provide properly and/or have misogynistic views?

The people who are this pro- "free education for both genders" when the topic of "educational opportunities for girls" come up dont try see the deeper issues. Yeah sure education is a fundamental right for every human, but which boy out there gets deprived from education for being a boy? Which boy gets married off because "Poribar shamlaite parbena"? (not saying it doesn't happen but it not as common as it is for girls). When a boy fails to access education, its due to his family's financial conditions, but most of the times when a girl fails to access education, its because she is a "she", and it happens even when families are financially able to educate their daughters.

The reason girls and women are given more "special" treatment when it comes to education is so that the numbers and percentage of educated and self dependant folks increase when both genders are compared in the country (which can only be done is the group that has been behind/forced to be behind is given support but sure ppl cant seem to understand that). Thats why I find it so weird that these bd netizens seem to fail to grasp the difference between "facing prejudice for being from a certain group" and "being financially unlucky" in this matter.

whats with the "bangladeshis are not bengali" nonsense online?

This statement always comes from a specific group of Bengalis in West Bengal. And I never get the reason behind this claim, why they believe it and why they think its even true. You literally could ask them why and they will say because most Bangladeshis aren't Hindus and apparently hinduism is the true bengali culture, but that doesn't make sense as Bengalis mostly practiced the Hinduism similar to what you will still find in South India and among the indeginous (adivasi) communities living around the whole subcontinent in ancient times, but today most of them follow/practice Hinduism in ways you will find in mostly North of India, due to Vedic influencs. So what exactly is the point of this statement?? Some may say it to simply ragebait, but alot believe it genuinely. If not religion, they jump to language which doesn't make sense either? No dialect is the "True Bengali" and even West Bengal itself has many dialects other than the Nadia/Kolkata dialect. The Nadia dialect being standardized is not ancient history. And a good amount of folks in Bangladesh speak Nadia and Varendri (closest to sounding like the Nadia dialect), so that argument doesn't make sense either.

So mostly their justification is either for the religion or the language, but both reasons are clearly flawed. I barely see any Bangladeshi addressing this thing. I wanna know what other Bangladeshis think and feel on this matter,,,, I personally think such claims are embarrassing,,, because that expresses insecurity bruv.
