Any hidden peaceful spot near Rishikesh? Pak gaya hun usual places se

Local hun yahan ka. Weekends mein kabhi kabhi Narendra Nagar side chala jata hun but ab woh bhi boring lagta hai honestly.

Koi aisi jagah hai jo genuinely peaceful ho, thoda offbeat, jahan dost ke saath baith ke time spend kar sako? Bhid bhi ab kam ho gayi hai toh season ka excuse bhi nahi hai.

Laxman Jhula Tapovan mat bolna please, those are done. DM karo ya comment mein batado.

Anyone planning a 200hr YTT in Rishikesh this September? Would love to connect

Planning to be in Rishikesh in September for my 200hr TTC and wondering if anyone else is heading there around the same time. Would be nice to connect with people going through the same experience. Which school are you looking at?

After the rain clears — view from Yamkeshwar, near Neelkanth, Rishikesh

Clicked this yesterday evening from my nani's village near Neelkanth temple in Yamkeshwar. Right after the rain stopped the clouds just spread across the valley like this. No filter, no edit. Monsoon does something different to these hills honestly.

Rainy morning at Laxman Jhula, Rishikesh — July 2026

shot this yesterday around 11:30 AM from a tea shop on the Yamkeshwar, Pauri Garhwal side of Laxman Jhula. Rain just started and the Ganga is looking completely different in monsoon. You can see both the old and new bridge from here. This is the kind of view you don't get in any reel or tourist photo just chai, rain, and Gangaji.

Found this boy on our trek in Harshil Valley, Uttarakhand, India — two different colored eyes and zero interest in letting us leave

Was trekking in Sattal, Harshil Valley in Uttarakhand when this guy just appeared out of nowhere and decided we were his people now. One blue eye, one brown eye. Spent the next hour just sitting with him in the mountains. No collar, no owner in sight, just vibes and heterochromia. Easily the best part of the trek.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, February 2026

Visited Kashi Vishwanath temple in Uttarkashi this February during our Harshil Valley trip. This temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Uttarakhand and the vibe here is completely different from the chaos of a tourist town, very peaceful and pure. Har Har Mahadev 🙏

Mukhwa Village, Harshil Valley, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, February 2026

Visited Mukhwa village in Harshil Valley this February. This is the winter seat of Goddess Ganga, the murti from Gangotri temple stays here during winters. The ancient wooden temple architecture here is absolutely stunning, very old and untouched. The Bhagirathi gorge views on the way are insane and the snow peaks just complete the whole picture. Extremely peaceful and barely any tourists. One of the most underrated places in Uttarakhand.

Panchachuli Trek, Uttarakhand, India

Spotted these beautiful light pink Buransh (Rhododendron) flowers on our recent Panchachuli trek in Uttarakhand. These are the state flower of Uttarakhand and grow all across the Himalayan ranges in many shades, red, pink, white. The light pink ones are honestly one of the most beautiful versions. Juice of Buransh is also very popular in the hills, locals make sharbat from it. Such a underrated gem of the Himalayas.
