~Synopis~
Ban has a strange hobby.
While other children read the Holy Books because the Church requires it, Ban reads them because he's obsessed with the Monarchs.
Their histories.
Their wars.
Their tragedies.
Their personalities.
And their romantic compatibility.
For years, Ban has spent his free time analyzing ancient records and constructing increasingly elaborate theories about which Monarchs would make the best couples.
He keeps this hobby to himself. Obviously.
Then one night, Ban accidentally finds himself in the worst possible place. The Sunken Abyss. The home of the Monarchs. A realm where humans do not belong.
He is armed with nothing but an unhealthy amount of Monarch lore and several years of highly questionable relationship analysis, Ban now faces a difficult challenge.
Survive.
Unfortunately,
Ban has other priorities.
"Sir... what are your orders?"
That question ruined my life.
I was never an intelligence agent.
I never had a mission.
I never had authority.
I was just an ordinary civilian who told one stupid lie.
Now police officers follow my commands.
Federal agents report directly to me.
Everyone believes I'm hunting a foreign operation hidden inside the country.

The operation doesn't exist.
I invented it.
The suspects don't exist.
The mission doesn't exist.
The intelligence doesn't exist.
