Been out of OOH for four years, what does the buying side look like in 2026

I planned outdoor until about 2022, then moved into a purely digital role. I'm back on a brief with billboards and transit and a lot has clearly changed. Back then it was rate cards, Geopath numbers and phone calls.
What should I be looking at now? Mainly what platforms people use to plan and buy, and whether measurement has actually improved or is still mostly estimates.

selling saas with cold email - what approaches are working for you now?

i feel like i'm banging my head against the wall with our cold email for saas campaigns. response rates are trash (under 1%) and i know our product solves a real problem.

we're a 7-person team selling compliance software to fintech companies. currently sending about 500 emails per week through instantly but the data accuracy from our current provider is killing us. half the emails bounce or go to catch-all hell.

starting to think the problem isn't the copy or timing - it's that we're emailing stale contacts. our list is basically rotting. looked at seamless.ai briefly but heard mixed things about their data quality. also been poking around Prospeo since they apparently refresh their data weekly and have decent email verification. considering Apollo too but idk, feels like everyone and their mom uses apollo at this point and i wonder if those contacts are just burned.

for those running successful saas cold email campaigns - what's your tech stack look like? are you seeing better results with certain b2b data providers? and what kind of response rates should we realistically be expecting these days?

Guy 1: A plane has 500 bricks on it.

One brick falls out. How many bricks are left?

Guy 2: 499.

Guy 1: Correct. Now, how do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

Guy 2: I don’t know.

Guy 1: Simple. You open the refrigerator, put the elephant inside, and close the door.

Guy 2: Oh, okay.

Guy 1: Now, how do you put a giraffe into the refrigerator?

Guy 2: The same way.

Guy 1: Wrong. First, you open the refrigerator, take the elephant out, then put the giraffe inside and close the door.

Guy 2: Ohhh, cool.

Guy 1: Now, there’s a party in the jungle, and all the animals are invited. But one animal doesn’t show up. Which one?

Guy 2: I don’t know
Guy 1: The giraffe, poor guy is still in the refrigerator!

Guy 1: Now, there’s a woman trying to cross a river. The river is usually full of alligators. But she swims across safely, and not a single alligator touches her. Why?

Guy 2: I don’t know.

Guy 1: Bro, I literally just told you. There’s a party in the jungle, and all the animals were invited. The alligators went to the fucking party!

Guy 2: Oh, right.

Guy 1: But she still died. How?

Guy 2: She drowned?

Guy 1: No. Remember the brick that fell out of the airplane at the very beginning?

My friend asked if I had any fantasies

I said, “Yes.”

She said, “Tell me!”

I said, “Winning the lottery.”

She said, “Sexual fantasies.”

I said, “Winning the lottery and having sex.”
