IS USFCA good for entrepreneurs in 2026?

I got into USF, Northeastern, and a bunch of other places in the US, and I also got into UCL and Warwick in the UK.

Right now I’m seriously considering USF because they’ve given me a $152k scholarship, and I want to be in the heart of Silicon Valley/SF because my main goal is to build and work on startups. I’m from India, and I’m pretty self-motivated, so I know I can push myself hard and make the most of wherever I go.

My main concern with USF is peer quality. I’m worried it might not be as strong as UCL/Warwick/Northeastern, and the university isn’t ranked that highly. I’m also concerned about the lack of prestige when pitching to VCs or trying to build a network in SF.

I applied for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, but I’m also considering switching into something more skill-based like Economics or Finance. At the same time, I feel like if I’m going into finance, London/UCL/Warwick might make way more sense.

So I’m stuck between:

USF: huge scholarship, SF/startup access, cheaper, close to the ecosystem
UCL/Warwick: much stronger prestige, better global brand, probably stronger peers
Northeastern: US option with better ranking/co-op, but likely more expensive

Would USF actually hold me back because of prestige/peer quality, or does being in SF + the scholarship make it worth it if I’m focused on startups?

Would love honest opinions, especially from people in startups, VC, finance, or international students who made a similar choice.
