We’re sitting at about 2,300 members right now. That’s wild for a sub about collecting every version of one Pokemon. But I’m not going to pretend growth hasn’t slowed down. It has. And instead of guessing what to do about it I figured I’d just ask you.
If you’re reading this you’re already here. That means something. You chose to subscribe to a subreddit about Gengar cards. So you’re exactly the right person to tell me what would make you check this sub more often, post more, or recommend it to someone else.
A few questions I’m genuinely curious about:
What kind of posts do you actually want to see more of? Deep dives? Collection showcases? Grading discussion? Market/pricing talk? More memes and fun stuff? Less of something?
What’s stopping you from posting? A lot of you are lurkers and that’s totally fine. But if there’s something that makes you hesitate to share your collection or ask a question, I want to know what it is.
How did you find this sub? Crosspost? Google search? Someone’s comment in another sub? Knowing where people come from helps me figure out where to put energy.
Is there something another collecting sub does that you wish we did here? Steal ideas. I don’t care. If someone else figured out something good I want to hear about it.
Would you share this sub with a friend who collects Gengar? If yes, cool. If no, why not? That’s the more useful answer.
