Trying to record out from the Sidekick directly into iPhone via USB C to lightning. Not sure what I’m doing wrong…
In settings, go to USB. Set it to Out, turn it to On.
I can see the sound in the display, but nothing to the iPhone when I hit record on voice memo app. Just the iPhone mic picking up the sounds in the room.
Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Is anyone certain about whether the outer sleeve for the vinyl repress is PVC, or a safer material?
I can’t seem to find a consensus, so just wondering what everyone else is doing?
Toss it? Take a chance to preserve the packaging?

Not sure if there are any fans of Boards of Canada here, but they just released Inferno today after a 13 year hiatus.
The track “All Reason Departs” contains a sample of a reading from Magick: Liver ABA, Book Four, Part III. Possibly, the vocal sample is from a documentary called Megiddo II: The New Age, or maybe from a video game called Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.
Their work has always been filled with religious and cult related themes… but hearing Thelemic stuff featured so prominently on this track from this long-awaited album was pretty amazing.
