Skeptic here but also open minded.

I would really love to know more about all kinds of Magick. I know there’s different ways to practice it but any and all methods are interesting to me as long as it’s tangible

I’m here to learn so please lay it on me.

Old world magicks interest me the most like if it predates modern civilization, I want to hear about it. I’m not talking about new age Pagan magic but the oldest dark arts or if the magic practices come from ancient civilizations like Greco-Roman, Nordic, Egyptian, Mayan, Mesopotamian, etc….

Demonology and the occult also interest me but though I come from a Jewish background, I still enjoy supernatural beings, so don’t let that deter you from what you tell me. Also, voodoo is intense but in the right way.

I won’t judge you if you don’t judge me. Thank you.

I’m not a practitioner of the dark arts but I’m open to the idea of it.

I’m posting to this sub Reddit because I’m interested learning more. I wanted to take the witchcraft/occult or arcane Reddit pipeline so I can learn more about magic. I’ve been pretty close minded and a skeptic but some strange things have been happening to me. I want to see if I can learn real magic.

This morning at around 3 or 4 am, I noticed an insane amount of insects on the ground outside. I go out there early in the morning or late at night all the time but it’s never been like this before. There wasn’t any dead animals or at least that I could smell. Also, the moon was especially serene and I heard a single wolf howl. I wanted to light the bugs on fire but I couldn’t. I wanted some guidance in any and all aspects of magic but especially black magic.

I won’t judge you if you don’t judge me but please, real advice only.

Song/Band Recommendations

I used to be more in the know about new music from new artists. I used to see live music and talk to anyone online in the scene. I got Spotify and YouTube but I’m hoping for modern pop punk/post-hardcore/“emo” recommendations for bands that are popular in the scene or even more underground. I don’t have any preferences for styles beyond personal tastes after listening to specific songs.

Incomplete Hellraiser/Hellwalker Amara build

My last Amara build post was very meh. I made improvements to it so now it’s a highly viable build on TVH MH 11.
This build is more fine tuned so I’ll only be focusing on those parts. I need some advice to fully flesh it out.
Now some background, I pulled up my first ever Amara save file which was max level on normal mode. I’m keeping it on normal mode mayhem 11 while I do all the missions, DLCs, and what have you.

This build focuses on mid to close range combat with an interesting active skill loadout. That would be Soulfire + Fist Over Matter + Stillness of Mind. I call that Hellish Tantrum or Beatdown from Hell. It’s an interesting interaction between the orange tree action skill and the blue tree action skill augmentation. In theory, it should disrupt multiple enemies while I’m mobbing while inflicting some minor AOE incendiary damage and building my stacks. Phasegrasp doesn’t affect bosses but the version I chose can do some damage if the boss doesn’t move out of range.
Then there’s the main weapons.
Speedloadn’ Hellwalker and Dueling Lucky 7. They fit the aesthetic and pack quite the punch. They both come in handy with ricochet, elemental damage (somewhat due to skills), and have extra effects. My shotgun can deal millions of damage if set up right but I’m having a hard time destroying enemies in specific circumstances like Trials, and endgame/extra content/DLC boss fights.
I’m thinking that I need a more suitable COM, artifact, and annointments.
Hopefully that’s it. I’m also in the market for something like a Plasma Coil but I’m struggling in Arms Race. I get shitty guns and die when I’m so close to the chest. I could use an SMG that would be great for melting enemies with shock or corrosive because relying too much on incendiary is a problem.

I’m sure I could’ve explained this build better. I’m tired and my mind is numb. Long story short, I want to just casually approach all combat with my active ability and then start shooting.

Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Loaded Bank

Do y’all think it’s bad that I filled my bank with 62-72 leveled loot? I’m always too broke to upgrade it and too careless by not storing lower level stuff. Then we got the mayhem 5-11 loot. Got a lot of that too. I’ll add some screenshots as proof of my dumbassery in the comments as a thread. I’ve sold a ton of stuff to fund all my playthroughs but overall I still have tons of unusable loot for my current playthrough.

Show me your banks, vault thieves. Let’s make new players jealous.

I mean this is just common sense but Amara is the most versatile Vault Hunter in the game. Sorry Zane mains but it’s true.

Now I guess I could name this build something edgy or something really simple and direct—
I’ll do both.
Let’s call it Acid Melting Brawler to reference the play style or maybe Corrosive Tiger to reference her code name.
This build focuses on mid to close range combat with a mix between melee and lots of guns. She uses Phaseslam to start fights and perhaps to end them as well. It also helps to kinda juggle certain enemies. She can start a combo and one shot most of those enemies with a powerful Jakobs shotgun. I’m not at that point where I can say which active skill in the Brawl tree is the best as I haven’t played around much in my past Amara builds with Downfall or Fracture. What I do know is that her primary goal is to take out enemies with corrosion as a passive elemental damage type in order to melt mobs and bosses while using her melee skills, Jakobs shotguns, Maliwan or Vladof pistols, Vladof or Dahl SMGs, and some kind of heavy weapon. Passive health regen, high max heath, and life steal are all great but this build doesn’t need all three. I haven’t figured out which method of survivability is the best for this build. I usually go for all three but I’m honestly wasting skill points by doing that. Either way, the most important part is using all perks that enhance her corrosion elemental output, close quarters damage, and tankiness.
Oh and by having one weapon that can switch between damage types which would preferably be a Maliwan pistol is essential to stack damage types and account for all enemy weaknesses. It’s important in post game bosses and DLC bosses.

One thing I ask of y’all is your best takes on this build. Show me your skill trees, artifacts, weapons, etc….
That’s all, my fellow vault thieves. Thank you.

Yo, fellow Vault Hunters.
Just started played BL3 again after a long extended hiatus. All my main saves have maxed out levels. I love Amara and Zane. I only enjoy playing as those two because they fit my playstyles. Got a lot I could say but anyways—
I’m back in action in a new Zane playthrough. I will be looking for shift key codes but rarely actually using them. I tended to abuse this mechanic for a while but not anymore. I need that one gun that buffs my chances of finding legendary loot.

Also, since it’s 2026 and BL4 has been out for a minute, what are y’all’s thoughts on which Borderlands game you prefer?
And I want to know which Vault Hunter is your main (any game) and your optimal playstyle with said Vault Hunter.

For me—
I prefer all the sirens. I’m a Lilith and Maya simp. I love dealing elemental damage at mid to close range and use whatever active ability I choose.
I also love chain damage too. Amara has some really good options for all that. Dealing an insane load of chained and ricocheted elemental damage with a few shots fired before ripping into the rest of the boss or mobs. I’m a mobile tank essentially. All DPS though one shotting weaker enemies with a shotgun is goated.
My current BL3 Zane playthrough is going to be fun. Shoulder cannon and digi-clone. I’ve never done that before. I usually use that drone and shoulder cannon but since I sacrifice grenades with two active effects, adding a digi-clone in there is a good way to make it work. I’ll use cryo and corrosive damage on most of my enemies while sliding and melting enemies with my shoulder cannon. I’ll use automatic pistols and shotguns mostly as well.
