I have some credit at my buddy's LGS.

He has a NIB Atilla. Of course, as an LGS owner he'd rather me take existing stock than me ask him to order me something new at-cost.

Is $900 a good deal? The support from this company seems to be shaky.

I've always said my dream EDC was a CSX with a radian afterburner. This seems pretty close to what I was hoping for. My biggest concern is the grip safety and holster support. Should I get it? I kinda want it.

In my head, if there's and additional device attached to the end of the barrels that has ports on it on the top or sides, that's a compensator.

If there's holes in the barrel and slide, that's porting.

But then I see guns like the Tisas Raptor, all the S&W carry comps, Sig Macro comps, etc, all seem like ported guns to me. I'm sure I'm wrong but how.

Yes I could ask AI, but I like asking ppl.

If I'm wrong and everything is a comp, is there a specific term for things like the radian ramjet/afterburner. I've heard the term island comp, is that a thing?
