S6E14: The Bikini in the Soup

This was the episode where Cam put everyone on a timer to solve a murder cause she had Valentine’s Day plans.

This made NO sense to me. There are several episodes where they don’t solve murders in a day. Just a few episodes ahead in the case where Brennan related to a doctor too much we have Brennan spending multiple nights trying to crack a case.

Also Cam is the boss. If she wants to leave, she can literally leave and come back the next day to solve the case??? Why are we on a timer cause you have a date 😭

Also in like the previous episode, Brennan told her to do something that would make her stay late and she said no cause she wanted to meet her doctor boyfriend

Make it make sense 😂

What’s your favorite endearing trait about Bones/Brennan?

To me she can be very child-like.

The way she comes up with her unfunny jokes and repeats stuff when Booth teaches her something new. She also takes a lot of things at face value especially when it comes from Booth.

Contrasted with her high intelligence and rational nature, it’s very refreshing. I guess part of it is probably not having a normal childhood/teenagehood so part of that manifests itself here but I just like seeing her being silly.

What’s yours?

S5E14: Sometimes I like it when Bones is chastened

Basically in this episode, Bones is taking shots at psychology (yet again). The doctor was kind enough to pull her aside and correct her. Of course she wasn’t sorry but again he was kind enough to consider her non-apology as one.

Few scenes later after seeing what he actually does on a daily basis, she apologizes for undervaluing his work.

I love Bones but sometimes I just want to shushhhhhh her and I love it when people clock her like this. Especially when she’s disrespecting people’s beliefs and livelihood
