I am a beginner plant parent and impulsively bought this bromeliad from a local plant store the other day . Any care tips would be helpful !

I am fairly new to houseplants and was just wanting some advice !

I recently got a Chinese evergreen , marble queen pothos and a bromeliad ! Pothos I’ve heard are very easy/beginner friendly so I feel good about that ! I do have some questions about the Chinese evergreen and bromeliad

My main question is soil and watering for the Chinese evergreen and bromeliad ! I keep hearing mixed things about if soil matters or not . I have potting soil and cactus/succulent soil . I’m reading that these two need a well draining soil ? I have a mix of potting soil and succulent soil in my pots with the Chinese evergreen and bromeliad, is that an okay mix for them ?! I think I’m overthinking the soil

As far as watering goes do I water the bromeliad once a month and the Chinese evergreen twice a month ? Do I wait for it to completely dry out before I water again or is a little moisture okay? What is the best thing to go off of for watering ?

I know this is a lot but any advice helps 😅 I think I’m just over thinking
