Hi! I know a lot of folks check reddit to see how insurance rates compare vs other providers.

As a point of reference, I just got my homeowners renewal and USAA came in at 27% cheaper than the next closest (Costco). The replacement cost was lower than other providers calculations so I'm gonna call and verify that tomorrow as well as see what other discounts they may have but just a point of reference for everyone!

Was recently at an ordination in a GOARCH parish and while he was there the bishop discussed the discrepancy in growth among the different metropolises and it made me curious if other Orthodox jurisdictions are seeing similar where a lot of the growth is focused in certain parts of the US. It’s a pattern we are seeing in the Melkite Church too so it had me curious. Also my local Roman Diocese put out a pastoral letter where 91% of the parishes are doing renovations to account for growth so it seems to be a large macro trend.

In Denton, Texas (30 minutes NW of Dallas) and spotted a cyber cab followed by a white Model Y. Both cars had tall black antennas on top that looked vaguely like Google Maps cars antennas.
