Tuna Fish, the dog
Tuna Fish is a dog who is always at the moscow farmers market. I would love to get a picture of her since she is sixteen and will not be returning after this season. Does anyone have a quality image or know where I can find one? I tried to get one and the owner of the stand also did her best to get her to stand up but she just wanted to sleep (understandable).

Okay to eat the lettuce?
First time growing butter lettuce, the slugs and earwigs have been loving it. I was hoping to do the same. Is it okay to eat lettuce that has bites taken out of it? I wash it very well ofc. Zone 6. Thanks!

Old friend moved back to town, didnt tell me. Homemade crunchwrap and baby crunchwrap.
An old friend from highschool(10+ years ago) moved back to our home town a few years after I did. We were very close in highschool and had a falling out after, which i reached out and apologized for my behavior and since then we followed eachother on social. I had no idea she moved back until I ran into her at her place of work. I was so caught off guard. She said to message her and we can catch up sometime. We exchanged cells. This was months ago. I feel like she doesnt want to "catch up" and was just being polite. I dont want to force a friendship with someone who didnt feel like I was worth messaging that she's going to be in town. To complicate things further, she announced her pregnancy(im happy for her) and I asked if she had a registry and only then did she suddenly remember that she was going to invite me to the shower.
I dont want her to feel like we HAVE to be friends again, and I feel like im just annoying her... I wont be able to make it to the shower but was sure to send gifts... I would love to be friends again, and im sad it doesnt seem mutual.

Too late for sweet potato?
I would love to try and grow sweet potatoes but I saw i need to obtain slips. Is it too late to start some potatoes in water for slips? Ive heard the summer is going to be long and hot this year 🤔
