LSU guard RJ Luis is hoping he will be eligible to play for the Tigers in the 2026-27 season despite previously signing a contract with the Utah Jazz.
Luis, who committed to the program in May, will have a preliminary injunction hearing on Aug. 24, according to 247Sports’ Zack Nagy and Blake Ruffino.

In his 2025 NBA Draft profile, Michael Ruzic was described as “tall with a high release point on his jumper, which is smooth and the highlight of his game. He can use that shooting threat as an advantage to cut as well, finishing around the basket with relative ease due to his length. That length also gives him defensive upside as a shot-blocker.”
Israeli point guard Yam Madar has agreed to join LSU Tigers men’s basketball, according to reports from Mozzart Sport, marking a major step away from European basketball and his current club, Hapoel Tel Aviv B.C..
Reports in recent days suggested that Madar had been in negotiations with the NCAA program from Louisiana, with speculation even linking the deal to a staggering $5 million per season package. Those talks now appear to have reached a full agreement.
