I recently bought a 2013 Volkswagen Passat and I’m trying to figure out a noise coming from the driver’s side. It sounds like a clunk/creak and I mainly notice it when going over bumps or driving at very low speeds. If I’m driving around 40+ mph or on the highway, I usually don’t hear it anymore.
It seems like it’s coming from the driver-side suspension, but I’m not sure what exactly could be causing it. Only one side is making the noise.
Since I just bought the car, I’m a little concerned. Do you think it’s safe to continue driving it for now, or should I get the suspension checked out ASAP?
Any ideas on what I should check first would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’m having some noises on my driver side issue. I took some pictures to see maybe what’s wrong with it I’m not really a mechanic. Just wanted to see if anything needs to be fixed ASAP or something that can be wait as I’m in need for money right now.
