25 hours in to my first universe and I got a mission to plant satellites in a xenon sector. I figured what the hell I got a fast ship. First system I go to I have an empty xenon H sitting there. I did timelines before ever starting this playthrough due to reading about the DLCs while the game was downloading so I knew there was one in the game but didn't remember which system it was in. I captured it and sacrificed my scout ship and the captain of it (sorry half star pilot) but I got my first L ship. The question now is what do I do with it? I watched videos and looked at people talking about it and it seems the consensus is it sucks. Do I just sell it or leave it in heretic's end as a showpiece?

I like the look of teladi ships especially the buzzard even though it's outclassed by other fighters. But even I get my military license I'll have access to the osprey but I don't know what it can actually do. The free one I got was so slow and not maneuverable enough to actually fight it seems but it has a ton of hull health. Does anyone use the osprey as a personal or fleet ship?

I decided to try trading to make money. Never really done it in any space sim and never in x4. I put my captain in charge of the ship and told her to pick up turret components because a station nearby was paying a green price for them. But after she picked them up the turret components didn't show up as an option to sell to the second station even though it's listed under bought wares.

I have been working on an unarmed fighter character and had my light skill about level 52. I loaded in my save and i was taking a lot of damage and realized my armor rating was lower than I remembered. I checked my skills and my light armor skill is now level 24 and my archery is level 48. I haven't used a bow on this character at all. I have plenty of mods installed but ordinator is the only one I know of that affects skills or perks. Any help fixing this so I don't have to restart the whole character would be appreciated.

I just started playing and right now I'm just doing missions to make money and try to learn the game. I'd like to an M class ship but I'm used to my little nid fighter so I'd like something that has a bit more staying power and punch while still being relatively quick and not handle like a tub. Any suggestions? I have all dlc but again I just started playing this game a few days ago.

I have had terrible luck with the road ever since I got this thing and last night I ran over something that appeared to be a black line of tar on the road but when I ran over it I discovered it was much more solid. The front wheel went over fine but there was a loud nose and I felt it hit the bottom of my bike. Today I looked it over and the only thing I can see is two dents in my exhaust with some scrapes.

These dents aren't going to cause issues with the engine will they? I don't know a lot about engines but it won't cause some exhaust backflow with the change in pressure? Hopefully it's nothing but this is my first brand new bike and I'm kinda freaking out about the dents.
