Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I read through the comments and decided to take them seriously.
I've already issued a full refund to the buyer, and the files, download link, and assembly video have all been removed.
I underestimated how people would feel about charging for a non-functional dummy model, and that's on me. Rather than argue about it, I think removing it is the better decision.
Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts.
This model does not match the dimensions or internal construction of the real optic. As a result, real ACOG accessories (such as kill flashes, lens covers, etc.) are not compatible.
Jesus Christ I didn't expect it to work this well either
I'm still testing the receiver's strength, so I'm running the weakest buffer spring possible.
The cycling is reliable, so a new receiver is already printing.
Built with strength as the top priority.
Long print time, but incredibly sturdy.
Uses the same magazine as the AK-50
Printing the receiver is incredibly stressful
Keeping the original structure while maintaining strength is challenging.
The size means I also have to carefully plan how to split the model for printing.
I'm developing the assembly method along the way as I build it.
